Translators Will Overhaul NIV
Big news in Christianity Today concerning Zondervan’s pledge to overhaul the TNIV in a move at correcting the “mistakes” made in its gender-neutral slant in translation.

A Few Rules on Comments, if you please...
While I am delighted that people are actually reading this blog and some even want to talk about a post or two, I think I need to set a few ground rules on publishing comments.
1. If you want to comment, own up to what you believe. I will not post anonymous comments.
2. If you are a Christian, disagree with me all you want, but back it up with Scripture. The god of our imaginations is still just an idol. Whether you are a Christian or not, I will not post bald assertions that have no argument.
3. I mean for this blog to be a meaningful exchange. Basic civility is the rule of the day. I will not allow venomous comments on this blog.
4. Please send on-topic comments only. If you have other stuff to say, send an e-mail.
Read and write to your heart’s content. But most of all, study Scripture to see if these things are so.
